Its 1000 RPM driveline goes through a 50° splitter to spin five blades at up 280 MPH. Using fixed knife technology, those blades drive crop residue into fixed knives bolted on the outside of the cutting deck. The result is finer residue and better distribution. Also available with a stump jumper option for light brush and tall grass cutting. Either way, the 5026 hugs the terrain with independent suspension at all sections.

When the job’s done, the 5026’s two 10’ wings fold up easily for a narrow but stable 10’6” transport width.

"Our bean crop yielded 160lbs per acre more because of crop residue management using the Schulte 5026 rotary cutter. In the Spring, where we had done the mowing, the ground warmed up faster, the beans came out of the ground faster and they grew better. Where it hadn't been mowed we had a lower yield and higher disease. When we cultivated In the fall we could do a good job of weed control and get right up to the beans on the fields we mowed, as trash and residue were cleared.
